Machine translation set-up



Machine translation has become a valuable work tool, an indispensable support now present in all modern browsers.

So to make our web pages faster and more performing (see https://web.dev/measure) we have eliminated the traditional service provided by Google and we suggest you use the basic services of the various browsers. For your convenience, we report on this page the instructions to activate them.

Chrome



  • At the top right of the page, click More. Settings.
  • At the bottom, click Advanced.
  • Click Languages. Language.
  • Turn Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language you read on or off.

    Edge



  • At the top corner of the page select Settings and more. > Settings.
  • Select Languages.
  • Enable or turn off Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read.

    Firefox



  • Click the menu button and select Add-ons.
  • Type 'FoxLingo' in the search box and press Enter.
  • Click Install and then restart Firefox to activate the extension.
  • Click Next to install FoxLingo using the default settings.

    Safari



  • Tap the Share button on the page.
  • Scroll to the left on the bottom row of icons.
  • Tap the More button.
  • Turn the Microsoft Translator switch to the green ON position.
  • Tap Done.
