Wellness is no longer a luxury and not just a lifestyle, but an important prevention against chronic non-communicable diseases and a way to strengthen immunity. The wellness industry needs to respond to new demand. This requires highly trained staff. The main challenge in the further development of the wellness tourism is availability of qualified staff.

 The exchange of good practices
On June 25, 2022, a meeting with PGI "Ivan Iliev" Blagoevgrad was held in the "Kliment Timiryazev" Vocational High School, Sandanski.
The guests of Blagoevgrad visited the Rehabilitation Center at the Kliment Timiryazev LNG, where the WeSkill project was discussed within the Erasmus + program, related to the development of skills in the sector of spa tourism and wellness.

The health and wellness trend has continued to grow across Europe as more individuals realize the importance of leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
The main challenge in the further development of the wellness tourism in response to the growing interest of tourists, as well as of the demand for wellness packages that include diversity of services is availability of qualified staff.
The WeSkill Project, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to face this challenge.
